Video highlights from Music 4.5 The YouTube Paradox
There were plenty of interesting discussions and engaging presentations at the latest Music 4.5 seminar “The YouTube Paradox“. A stellar list of speakers, including Mark Mulligan of MIDiA Research, Nic Yeeles founder of Peg, Camille Moussard from TuneCore, Nick Freeman representing Kobalt Label Services, Dominic Smales, founder of Gleam Futures and Claire Mas, head of digital at Communion Music Group, took to the stage to discuss the future of YouTube and what the music industry can learn from the video platform and its young stars.
Bringing insights from an artist perspective was singer/songwriter/guitarist and producer David Giles and manager Tristan Lillingston of 1983 Management who shared his thoughts on the difference between managing artists and YouTubers.
