Seeking disruptors in sport, health and fitness tech
Are you a startup in sport, health and fitness?
According to our friends at CityAM, “funding going to tech startups in the UK remains strong…and has already hit $500m (£383m) since the 23 June vote.”
But how should startups access those funds? There are a number of routes, but we know one thing for sure:
It all starts with the pitch.
Our past TechPitch 4.5 Sports pitching events have seen an array of sport-tech start-ups presenting their business plan to our panel of judges – from health tracking and coaching apps to location-based databases of fitness classes, from sports listings and 4G connectivity in stadiums to performance sportwear and curated ath-leisure.
TechPitch 4.5 Sports has been so successful at showcasing the best innovations and disruptions in sport, health and fitness tech – and at providing networking opportunities for all who work, invest, partner and write about it – that we are hosting another one, this time focused on sports and health, on 18 October 2016 in London.
There is still time to apply to pitch. The deadline is Friday 23 September 2016.
What will it be like and what can you expect? Please watch the highlights and the pitches at our last TechPitch 4.5 Sports in our event video.
